About the venue
Candy is a long-running LGBTQ+ nightclub on Sackville Street in Bradford city centre. In a city with a relatively small dedicated queer nightlife scene, it has traditionally served as one of the main places for late-night LGBTQ+ clubbing.
The venue is built around music, dancing and a club atmosphere rather than relaxed daytime drinking. Its role is different from the nearby Sun Hotel, giving Bradford both a pub-style queer venue and a more dance-led option.
Because nightlife businesses can change format quickly, visitors should check the venue’s current social channels and event information before travelling, particularly for opening nights and entry arrangements.
