About the venue
Dot Cotton Club is a long-running LGBTQ+ club night in Cambridge rather than a conventional permanent bar. It has been part of the city’s queer nightlife for more than three decades and has moved between several host venues over that time.
The event is centred on dancing, pop and club music, giving Cambridge an explicitly LGBTQ+ night in a city with relatively few dedicated queer nightlife spaces. Its recurring format means the exact venue and date matter more than the address attached to the listing.
Anyone planning to attend should check the organiser’s current event page before travelling. The important point for visitors is that Dot Cotton is an event-led queer nightlife institution, not a venue that can be assumed to open every weekend.
