About the venue
Boulevard is a dedicated cabaret venue in Newcastle upon Tyne, built around full-stage entertainment rather than operating as a conventional bar or nightclub. The show format combines drag, comedy, dance, costumes and choreographed production.
The venue is designed for an evening where the performance is the main event, making it particularly popular with groups, celebrations and visitors looking for a structured night out. Drinks and hospitality sit around the show rather than replacing it.
Boulevard’s strong cabaret identity gives Newcastle a distinctive LGBTQ+-connected entertainment venue that differs from a standard gay bar. Performances are scheduled, so checking dates and booking arrangements in advance is important.
