About the venue
Loft Nightclub is a late-night venue on South Street in Perth city centre. Perth has a much smaller dedicated LGBTQ+ nightlife scene than Glasgow or Edinburgh, so venues such as Loft can play a role through mixed and LGBTQ+-friendly events rather than operating solely as a gay club.
The focus is on DJs, dancing and weekend nightlife. Visitors looking specifically for queer events should check the current programme, as the character of individual nights can vary considerably.
For Gay.events, Loft is most useful as an event-led nightlife listing in a city where dedicated permanent LGBTQ+ venues are limited. The event calendar, rather than the venue name alone, is the best guide to whether a particular night is relevant.
