About the venue
The Nightingale is one of Birmingham’s best-known LGBTQ+ nightclubs and a major anchor of the city’s Gay Village. The large venue is designed for full-scale club nights, with multiple spaces allowing different music styles and atmospheres to run across the same evening.
Its programme includes resident club nights, guest DJs, drag, live appearances and major Pride-period events. The scale of the club means it often attracts people from across the Midlands rather than only local regulars.
Located on Kent Street, Nightingale sits within easy walking distance of the other bars around Hurst Street. It is best thought of as a late-night destination rather than a casual pub, and specific admission arrangements depend on the event.
