About the venue
The Street is an LGBTQ+ bar at Picardy Place in central Edinburgh, close to several of the city’s other queer-friendly venues. It offers a relaxed bar setting earlier in the evening before becoming more music-led later on.
A downstairs club space gives the venue a second identity after dark, with DJs and themed nights complementing the main bar. This makes The Street useful both as a meeting point and as somewhere to stay later into the night.
Its central location near the top of Leith Walk makes it easy to combine with CC Blooms and other Edinburgh nightlife. The exact entertainment programme changes, but the venue remains a familiar part of the city’s LGBTQ+ scene.
