About the venue
Fibre is a well-known bar on Lower Briggate in Leeds’ Freedom Quarter and has been closely associated with the city’s LGBTQ+ nightlife for many years. The venue combines stylish bar spaces with music, DJs and outdoor areas, giving it a broad appeal across afternoons, evenings and late nights.
Its location places it directly among Leeds’ main queer venues, so Fibre often forms part of a wider circuit around Queens Court, Viaduct and the surrounding Lower Briggate bars. The atmosphere can shift from relaxed drinks to a much busier party setting as the night develops.
For visitors exploring the Freedom Quarter, Fibre is useful as both a meeting point and a late-night destination. The specific entertainment programme changes, particularly around Pride and major city weekends.
